The Queen room in the Annex
Room size 30 m². QUEEN-sized extra-length bed. French doors open onto a patio. This is the only room with a covered porch suitable for smokers - note that smoking in the bedroom is not allowed. Conveniently close to the parking but offers no particular garden view. The shower has no steps and is fitted with grab rails, therefore suited to mobility-impaired guests. No bath.
The front room in the Annex
Room size 26 m². QUEEN-sized extra-length bed. French doors open onto a patio. This is the only room with a covered porch suitable for smokers - note that smoking in the bedroom is not allowed. Conveniently close to the parking but offers no particular garden view. The shower has no steps and is fitted with grab rails; it is therefore suited to mobility-impaired guests. No bath.

Studio unit - upstairs
Please bear in mind that you have to be able to negotiate the stairs leading up to the room before you book this studio unit - it is therefore not suitable for guests with heavy suitcases or mobility impairment. Room size 36 m². Shower, no bath. The room has an extra length QUEEN-sized bed.
Our two guest rooms in the historic homestead.
Die Voorkamer was used by the Standers as their formal lounge and Die Musiekkamer as their informal lounge and housed the piano and other musical instruments. Because of the 3,6-meter-high ceilings, the rooms are lovely and cool in summer and in winter we find that the clay walls retain the heat very well. They both have working fireplaces - the Victorian fireplaces have been left intact and a small, closed-combustion stove installed using the existing chimney.
